How to set up text to Give one time donation automation workflow

What will your message be? What will your keyword be that will prompt the text to give automation? Think through the donation experience step by step. For Example:

Outgoing Keyword Trigger: "Support the Save the Dolphins Holiday Fundraiser! Text 'HOLIDAY' to (512) 675-1289 to give a donation"
Incoming Keyword Trigger: "HOLIDAY"
Outgoing How Much?: "Cheers! How much would you like to give to the Save the Dolphins Holiday Fundraiser?"
Incoming: "$5.00"
Outgoing Tap to Complete: "Thank you! Tap this link to complete your $5.00 donation to the Save the Dolphins Holiday Fundraiser: securepaymentlink.everyware.com"
Outgoing - Post Give Thank You: "Thank you for your generous donation and Happy Holidays!"

Build out your SMS Templates

Messages > SMS Templates

Campaign SMS Template: Holiday Text to Give Automation Campaign	"Support the Save the Dolphins Holiday Fundraiser! Text 'HOLIDAY' to (512) 675-1289 to give a donation"
Automation Step 1 SMS Template: One Time Donation Step 1 (Capitalize each word in Template Name - Case Sensitive)	"Cheers! How much would you like to give to the [AUTOMATIONBUSINESSNAME] Holiday Fundraiser?"
SMS Automation Step 2 SMS Template: One Time Donation Step 2 (Capitalize each word in Template Name - Case Sensitive)	"Thank you! Tap this link to complete your [AUTOMATIONPAYMENTAMOUNT] donation to the Save the Dolphins Holiday Fundraiser: [LINK WILL APPEAR HERE]"
Payment Step 3 Auto Message Template: One Time Donation Step 2	"Thank you for your generous donation and Happy Holidays! 🐬🎄"

Place Keyword & SMS Templates into Automation Workflow

Messages> Automations > Create Automation > One Time Donation Automation Workflow

Always title one time giving automation types "One Time Donation" and differentiate it from other automations like it in the Description field.

Click Choose Starting Action > Choose Initial Trigger Actyion "Incoming SMS Message - Keyword Match (EXACT) from the dropdown list.

Enter the different keyword variations you think your contacts may text in. Keep in mind sometimes they don't spell correctly or capitalize like you asked.

Toggle OFF 'Once Per 24 Hours'

Click Save

Choose Send Outbound SMS from Next Action

Locate your One Time Donation Step 1 and you'll see a little preview below the Message Template field when you do. Make sure it's the right one.

Click Save

Initial Trigger this time is Payment Amount

Toggle off Once per 24 hours again

Next Action - send outbound SMS

One Time Donation Step 2 from the drop down

Click Save

Click Save Changes > Are you finished? Yes
