What is a Genie Number?
A Genie Number is an *optional* data field that appears in the New Payment pop up window when you click on Create Payment from the main Payments page.
When to Enter a Genie Number
It is especially helpful for companies that need to associate a payment with a voice recording ID in their IVR system.
Include the Genie Number for the customer voicemail recording authorizing a transaction so you have a way to verify their verbal authorization before processing the card payment.
Where to Find Genie Numbers for Processed Transactions
When entered, Genie numbers will also appear on the Process Authorizations page for quick reference (and export, if necessary)
